Oktoberfest at Camp Richardson
October 2nd and 3rd, 2010 will be filled with great activities at South Lake Tahoe. In addition to the Kokanee Salmon Festival, the 15th Annual Oktoberfest will take place at Camp Richardson, from 10a to 5p each day.
The 15th Annual festival will offer two full days of family fun, great food and hand-crafted items. Admission and Parking are free.
Kids – big or small – can search for the perfect pumpkin at the festival’s pumpkin patch. The entire family will enjoy events especially geared to children, including games for all age groups, from the Bouncy Castle, to face painting.
Adults can enjoy the Beer and Wine Garden, offering a variety of great beer and wines. Guests will also find the best of German cuisine, bockwurst, knackwurst, brotwurst, polish dogs as well as traditional German desserts.
The Al Gruber Band will perform both days with the sounds of great German music, including traditional polkas. Oktoberfest craft booths will display a large selection of handmade items.
