Lake Tahoe School Summer Series

Lake Tahoe School 2010 Summer Series, a summer camp experience for kids 6-14, is enrolling kids for this summer. Early enrollment discounts of 25% are available until April 15th. Sessions will be held July 12 to July 15; July 19 to July 22; and July 26 to July 29.
Outdoors, children can experience rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, sailing, and whitewater rafting, and more in the outdoors. Families have the choice of adding a Learning Experience including science in the outdoors, computer music workshop, drama, wet and wild watercolor,photography rock and roll, as well as theater improv, needle and sewing crafts and the popular rockets program and more. Check the catalog for these activities during the other session and in additional age group.
Lake Tahoe School is offering two new overnight trips: a Yosemite Adventure and a Kayak Camping Voyage on Lake Tahoe! They will retain their traditional High Sierra Rock Climbing Adventure, where campers stay at a lodge on Donner Summit and rock climb for four days. Added this summer will be the chance to kayak from DL Bliss campground to Emerald Bay or travel to Yosemite and explore the park! So many new opportunities for truly rare and exceptional summertime adventures.
TheScience in the Outdoors course is their newest science-specific camp. After reflecting on past years, camp organizers created a science-oriented curriculum that is more dedicated to conservation and the study of our local Tahoe surroundings, while maintaining the intensity of creative thinking and hands-on learning. This course will give campers an opportunity to study the lake from the water. Led by local educators, this course is sure to keep campers engaged!
