As the Fourth of July approaches, Independence Day celebrations, complete withFourth of July at Lake Tahoe fireworks shows in Incline Village, Tahoe City, Kings Beach and South Lake Tahoe, are undergoing final preparations.

Thanks to generous donations and dedicated volunteer efforts the fireworks show in Incline Village, during the Red, White and Tahoe Blue festivals will take place, on the evening of July 4th, at Incline Beach. In addition to the Incline Village Fireworks, the Red, White and Tahoe Blue festival will include a whole calendar of events taking place in early July, including a veterans event, parade and kids activities.”

Tahoe City will hopefully meet its fundraising goal in order to have a fireworks show. The event traditionally takes place at 9:30p on July 4th and can be seen from locations in Tahoe City, including Commons Beach. Kings Beach will offer a fireworks show the evening of July 3rd, thanks to the efforts of the North Tahoe Business Association. There will be a pancake breakfast, 5K run and crafts fair in Kings Beach on July 4th.

South Lake Tahoe (Phone: (530) 544-5050) will also have fireworks, which are scheduled to begin at about 9:45p on July 4th.  One of the best views of the South Lake Tahoe fireworks display is from Nevada BeachA $5,000 fine is possible, on some South Lake Tahoe beaches, if you have alcohol with you.
