Easter Sunday falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon after MAR-20, the nominal date of the Spring Equinox. Here are the dates of a few Easters to come:


2009: April 12
2010: April 4

For your family to enjoy over Easter Break, Lake Tahoe offers an assortment of Easter Egg Hunts all around the lake this year.  Here's  the latest word Easter Egg Hunts at Lake Tahoe, Northstar, Squaw, Alpine and South Lake Tahoeon the Easter Bunny's Lake Tahoe appearance schedule, including Easter Egg Hunts:

On March 27, 2010  from 9:30a to 2p,  the Incline Village Parks and Recreation will host  The Second Annual Underwater Egg Hunt at the  Incline Village Recreation Center Pool.  Recreation Center Members are FREE / Non-members: $4/child.

Jump in the pool for some underwater Easter fun.  Some "eggs" will be weighted, and some will float. Each colored egg is worth a prize! Children will be grouped according to age: 0-3*, 4 & 5, 6 & 7, 8 and older
*3 and under– parent must be in the water with the child. After the underwater egg hunt is complete, stay and swim with the Lobster Inflatable at 11:30 am.  NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!  

Incline Village at Incline Beach
The Spring Eggstravaganza Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt is set for Saturday, April 3,, 2010 at Incline Beach. The hunt starts promptly at 11:00am. Ages Infant – 11 years old are invited to hunt. Come at 10:30am and bring your camera to get your child’s picture with the Easter Bunny. Grab your basket and join the fun.

Join the Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, April 3rd at 10:00 am sharp at Commons Beach.  The event is free and is for the entire family.  The hunt will be divided into age groups for all to enjoy including a special golden egg hunt for the adults with wonderful prizes.  The Easter Bunny will be on hand so bring your camera for some great photo opportunities.

Easter at Lake TahoeNorthstar-at-Tahoe Ski Resort
On Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010, celebrate the Easter holiday with festive activities for all ages.  The Easter Bunny will make guest appearances both in the Village at Northstar™ and on the mountain, and the resort will host an Easter Egg Hunt with over 2,000 eggs!

At 11:00 a.m. the Easter Egg Hunt will begin.  The Easter Bunny will hide over 2,000 eggs on the lawn at the Village Overlook. Kids can hunt and collect as many eggs as they can find for cool kid prizes!

At Squaw Valley there will be an on-Mountain Easter Egg Hunt from 9am-4pm on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010.  Find any of the 30 magnetic & colorful eggs hidden throughout the mountain and receive a great prize!  (Hint: think beginner lift areas).  Prizes can be redeemed from 2 to 4pm in the Village Events Plaza.

The Easter Bunny will pose for photos with kids from 10am to 2pm, and a
performer will make balloon animals and entertain with stilt-walking
from 2pm to 4pm. In addition, kid-friendly music will be playing in the
Village from 2pm to 4pm.

South Lake Tahoe will also host the Easter Bunny.  On April 2, 2010,  join in the  Tot Easter Egg Hunt at the Kahle Community Center.  The event is free and will begin at 11 AM and all children ages 6 and under are invited to attend. Hunt for eggs and explore real fire trucks. Inside and enjoy the bounce house, indoor playground and refreshments. Bring a basket to collect eggs and a camera for an Eggsciting day! Hunt begins at 11am and gym will be open until 1pm.
