4H Camp at Lake Tahoe

In Zephyr Cove, Nevada there is a 32 acre facility, complete with residential cabins, bathroom and shower facilities, dining hall, craft building, campfire with seating for 150 people, ampitheatre over-looking Lake Tahoe, lush forest and pristine beach. The 4-H Camp's private, sandy beach front, pier and lawns offer leisure activities like volleyball, swimming, kayaking, canoing and more. The camp includes a basketball court, ping-pong tables, horseshoe pits and the leadership challenge course. Click here to see the camp map.
Since 1939 this camp has hosted Nevada 4H Camps at this facility. In 1953 ownership of the camp was transferred to the State of Nevada, under the direction of the Agricultural Extension Service and the Nevada Board of Regents.
The University of Nevada Cooperative Extension 4-H Camp is available for rental year round. Day use is permitted between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Overnight use includes use of cabins as well as all other 4-H Camp facilities.
